Services

Our services include a 24 hour Crisis line, crisis intervention, court advocacy, domestic & sexual violence and self-esteem support groups, individual counseling, as well as referral to other community agencies for housing, employment, and other needed services. Services are also provided by the Rape and Sexual Response Assault Response Center.

 

Forensic exams are Performed by Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE). The Center provides immediate, comprehensive forensic examinations for sexual assault victims in a compassionate and sensitive manner. The purpose of the SANE examinations is to assess, document, and collect forensic evidence.

 

The Center provides counseling services to victims of sexual assault through assessment, education, therapeutic intervention, emotional support, assistance in identifying, understanding, and managing sexual assault related symptoms. Counseling is offered in individual and/or group settings and scheduling is arranged to meet client needs.

 

The Center provides legal advocacy to explain criminal justice procedures and prepare victims for testimony. Advocates act as liaison with judicial, legal and law enforcement officials and maintain a working relationship with the District Attorneys General. They also appear with victims in court.
