- 95% of all domestic assaults are committed by men.

- 63% of all boys, ages 11-20, who are arrested for murder, have killed the man who was assaulting their mother.

Some of the services that Genesis House Inc. provides to victims of domestic violence are shelter, supportive housing, transitional apartments, rape/sexual assault response center, confidential examinations, counseling, support groups, court appearance support, referrals, and 24-hour telephone access to trained staff.
